DIY charger

This is a simple solar powered mobile charger.
COMPONENTS USED:
SOLAR PANEL                       8V , 45ma          *1           open circuit voltage,and short circuit current.
7805
LVR                                 5V                       *1           a linear voltage regulator
20AWG WIRE                          1m                      *1             flexible silicone is betterCAPACITOR
0.1uF                  *2             as a filter
MOBILE SPECIFIC PIN                                      *1             for connecting the mobile

THEORYSolar panel is delivering fatal voltage for mobile internal circuitry hence needs to be lowered that is done by 7805 here,it can also be done by LM317 IC. now for fluctuations we are adding input and output capacitors.

MAKING:    be careful in connecting the input to 7805 .input goes to pin no.1 .output comes from pin no. 3 .and 2 is ground.

now properly connect the output pins to the mobile charger pin according to polarity .

for polarity checking ; first check that what is the output of your wall charger in terms of positive and negative and according to that connect + and - to the output wires.

ADD ON: here we are using a comparitively low power panel. if you are using a 100-200ma panel you can give a resister and LED for checking if charging is going on or not.
